Anne Marie Reilander
Counselling
Hi, I’m Anne-Marie (she/her) and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a Master’s level Counselling Psychology intern, practicing under the clinical supervision of Chloe McKinley.
My path to counselling began through a lifelong curiosity about people and what helps us heal, connect, and grow. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years teaching both in Canada and overseas, working closely with families and communities from all walks of life. Those experiences taught me that while our stories may differ, our hearts often long for the same thing - acceptance, understanding, connection, and love.
In our sessions, my hope is that you’ll feel truly seen and safe - free from judgment or pressure. This is your space to slow down, breathe, and explore whatever feels heavy or unclear. Together we’ll work gently toward insight, healing, and self-compassion, at your own pace.
My approach is integrative and person-centred, which means I draw from different therapeutic perspectives to support what you need most in the moment. Above all, I believe that you already carry the wisdom you need - sometimes it just takes a caring space to help uncover it.
If you’ve been feeling lost, dimmed, or weighed down… if life feels like too much, or not enough… please know, you’re not alone. You’ve already taken a brave step by being here.
